Unit 8 is about places we inherit and pass on to future generations. It describes the Shat Gambuj Mosque in Bagerhat and the Tara Mosque in Dhaka, the Somapura Mahavihara at Paharpur, the Statue of Liberty in New York and Lake Baikal in Russia.
