ভার্ব হলো কাজ, অবস্থা বা অভিজ্ঞতা বোঝানো শব্দ। অক্সিলিয়ারি ভার্ব মেইন ভার্বের সাথে ভার্ব ফ্রেজ বানায়। রেগুলার ভার্বে d/ed যোগ হয়, ইরেগুলার ভার্ব রূপ বদলায়। ট্রানজিটিভ ভার্বের অবজেক্ট থাকে, ইনট্রানজিটিভের থাকে না।
