পারো বাংলাদেশের প্রতিটা শিক্ষার্থীর শেখা নিয়মিত মাপার সহজ উপায়। আমরা শুরুর পর্যায়ে আছি, আর এই পাতায় যা আছে, সবই যা সত্যি হয়েছে।Paaro is a simple way to measure every Bangladeshi student’s learning, regularly. We are at an early stage, and this page sticks to what has actually happened.

১. সমস্যা1. The problem

জাতীয় পর্যায়ে শিক্ষার্থী মূল্যায়ন কয়েক বছরে একবার হয়, নমুনা স্কুলে, আর ফল আসে অনেক পরে। ততদিনে সেই শিক্ষার্থী অন্য ক্লাসে। শিক্ষক জানেন না কোন শিক্ষার্থীর কোথায় আরেকটু সাহায্য দরকার, আর কর্মকর্তারা জানেন না কোন স্কুলে আগে সাহায্য দরকার।National student assessment happens once every few years, in a sample of schools, and the results arrive much later. By then the students have moved on. Teachers do not know who needs a little more help, and where, and officers do not know which schools need help first.

২. পারো কী করে2. What Paaro does

• ছোট কুইজ, সাধারণ স্মার্টফোনে, নেট ছাড়াও চলে। বাংলা, ইংরেজি, গণিত আর আইসিটি।Short quizzes that run on everyday smartphones, even offline. Bangla, English, maths and ICT.
• ফল সঙ্গে সঙ্গে: শিক্ষার্থী কতটুকু পারছে, কোন ব্যান্ডে, কোথায় ঘাটতি।Instant results: how much the student can do, which step they are on, where the gap is.
• শিক্ষক, প্রধান শিক্ষক, উপজেলা, জেলা আর কেন্দ্রীয় কর্তৃপক্ষ, সবার জন্য আলাদা ড্যাশবোর্ড।Separate dashboards for teachers, head teachers, upazila, district and central authority.
• পাঠসাথী: একই লগইনে হাজিরা, বসার ছক আর শিক্ষার্থীর ফোন ছাড়াই ক্লাসে কুইজ।Pathshathi, on the same login: attendance, seat maps, and class quizzes without student phones.
• পারো যাচাই: শিক্ষকেরা প্রশ্ন লেখেন আর যাচাই করেন, তাই প্রশ্নভান্ডার নিজে থেকেই বাড়ে।Paaro Jachai: teachers write and check questions, so the question bank keeps growing on its own.

৩. এখন কোথায় আছি3. Where we are now

• paaro.net চালু। শিক্ষার্থী, শিক্ষক আর কর্মকর্তাদের পোর্টালের নকশা তৈরি।paaro.net is live. Portal designs for students, teachers and officers are complete.
• ৬ষ্ঠ থেকে ১২শ শ্রেণির ১,৫৯১টা প্রশ্ন, প্রতি অধ্যায়ে অন্তত ১০টা।1,591 questions for classes 6 to 12, at least 10 per chapter.
• শিক্ষক, প্রধান শিক্ষক, কর্মকর্তা আর কর্তৃপক্ষের জন্য বাংলা ও ইংরেজি ব্যবহার নির্দেশিকা।User guides in Bangla and English for teachers, head teachers, officers and the authority.
• শিক্ষা কর্তৃপক্ষের সাথে পাইলট নিয়ে আলোচনা চলছে। কোথায় পাইলট হবে, কর্তৃপক্ষ ঠিক করবেন।Pilot discussions with the education authority are under way. The authority will decide where the pilot runs.

৪. আয়ের মডেল4. Business model

শিক্ষার্থী আর শিক্ষকের জন্য মূল সেবা ফ্রি থাকে। কিছু নীতি কখনো বদলাবে না: বিজ্ঞাপন নেই, তথ্য বিক্রি নেই, শিশুদের প্রোফাইলিং নেই। আমরা মনে করি এই বিশ্বাসই পারোর সবচেয়ে বড় সম্পদ।The core service stays free for students and teachers. Some principles will never change: no ads, no sale of data, no profiling of children. We believe that trust is Paaro’s greatest asset.

৫. যা পারোকে আলাদা করে5. What sets Paaro apart

দুটো সমস্যা বাংলাদেশের ক্লাসরুমেই দেখা যায়, আর দুটোর সমাধান পারো নিজে বানিয়েছে।Two problems show up in Bangladeshi classrooms in particular, and Paaro built its own answer to each.

• পাশের জনের খাতা দেখা যায় না: বেঞ্চে তিনজন করে বসে, তাই বসার ছক ধরে চারটা প্রশ্নসেট এমনভাবে ভাগ হয় যে সামনে, পেছনে, পাশে, কোনাকুনি, কোনো পাশের দুজন একই সেট পায় না। প্রতিটা শিক্ষার্থীর প্রশ্ন আর উত্তরের ক্রম আলাদা, তবু একটা বীজ নম্বর থেকে হুবহু আবার বানানো যায়, তাই খাতা দেখা সহজ। শিক্ষার্থীর ফোন লাগে না: শিক্ষক এক ফোন থেকে মুখে মুখে কুইজ নেন, প্রত্যেকে আলাদা প্রশ্ন।No copying from the neighbour: students sit three to a bench, so four question sets are laid over the seat map so that no two neighbours, front, back, side or diagonal, share a set. Each student’s question and option order is different, yet can be rebuilt exactly from one seed number, so marking stays easy. Students need no phone: the teacher runs an oral round from one phone, with a different question for each student.
• কেউ নিজের ভূমিকা নিজে বেছে নিতে পারেন না: লগইন শুধু প্রমাণ করে আপনি কে। শিক্ষককে অনুমোদন দেন প্রধান শিক্ষক, প্রধান শিক্ষককে উপজেলা, আর কর্মকর্তার অ্যাকাউন্ট কর্তৃপক্ষের দাপ্তরিক তালিকায় পদের সাথে বাঁধা। ছোটরা মা-বাবার ফোনে চালায়, তাই অভিভাবক অ্যাকাউন্টের মালিক আর সন্তানের আলাদা প্রোফাইল; অভিভাবকের ওটিপিই আইনের সম্মতি।Nobody picks their own role: login only proves who you are. Head teachers approve teachers, the upazila approves head teachers, and officer accounts are tied to posts on the authority’s official list. Younger students use a parent’s phone, so the guardian owns the account and each child has a profile; the guardian’s OTP is the consent the law requires.

৬. কেন এখন6. Why now

• নতুন শিক্ষাক্রমে ধারাবাহিক মূল্যায়নের ওপর জোর বেড়েছে।The new curriculum puts more weight on continuous assessment.
• গ্রামেও শিক্ষক আর অভিভাবকের হাতে স্মার্টফোন।Teachers and guardians carry smartphones, in villages too.
• নতুন উপাত্ত সুরক্ষা আইনে শিশুর তথ্যের নিয়ম কড়া হয়েছে। যারা শুরু থেকেই নিয়ম মেনে বানায়, তারা এগিয়ে থাকে।The new data protection law sets strict rules for children’s data. Services built to comply from day one have the edge.

৭. কে বানাচ্ছে7. Who is building it

পারো বানাচ্ছে ঢাকার একটা দল: শিক্ষা, নকশা আর প্রযুক্তির মানুষ, আর প্রতিটা প্রশ্ন যাচাই করেন শিক্ষকেরা।Paaro is built in Dhaka by a team from education, design and technology, with teachers checking every question.
